Personal Statement

My aspirations for college are two-fold, I look forward to exploring a major in Education and History that will position me well for expressing my passion for learning historical facts and helping others. Then on the football field, I will continue to demonstrate my dedicated work ethic, leading by example, while being a humble and thoughtful teammate. As I grow both physically and mentally with football, I will strive to be a well-rounded player that is extremely coachable and willing to learn from others.

My personal goals are to be a strong asset to the team, along with consistently increasing my core strength, speed and agility. I am passionate about football and have shown the ability to play multiple positions. This past season, I played a new position as quick guard and while this was not my preferred position as line backer, I understood I needed to fill a missing gap for our team. I quickly learned and consistently improved at this position, while learning our linebacker (flex) position at the same time. I know I can demonstrate my ability to be versatile and work hard no matter what position I play. I am confident I am capable of playing at the college level.
