Personal Statement

My name is Joe Ziccardi and my main position is an athlete, I can really play anywhere the coach tells me to. I am 5'10", 165lbs and love the game of football. I have really good lateral quickness and good break away speed. My most important accomplishments were starting as a sophomore on varsity and making it to the state playoffs that year. Also winning the "combine king award" at the National Underclassmen Combine. I can offer my team leadership and hardwork, I love working out and getting better. I will always be the last one to leave the weight room and I will always do extra stuff after my workouts like sprints and stretching real good. I would love to go to school somewhere with nice weather and atmosphere. My preferences for college are Division 1 & 2 schools, but for the most part, I would want to go to a Division 1 school. I haven't narrowed down my desired major yet but I do have a lot of choices to choose from that I would like to major in. My realistic goals as an athlete are to improve in my speed, strength, and quickness every month (I love seeing improvements in myself as an athlete). I would also want to make an impact to my team, and play at the highest competition level possible. "You have to go hard EVERY play."
