Personal Statement

I attend Troy High School located in Fullerton, California. I will graduate in the class of 2011. I have been a 3 year starter on the Varsity team. A key attribute would be my speed, I can run the 60 yard dash in 6.66 and I'm quick to first base, my 30 yard dash time is 3.75. Although pitching isn't my main position, I can be called in for a couple of innings and get the job done. Some of my baseball accomplishments started at a younger age, with former teams. I've been apart of 6 state championships and won a National Title in Cooperstown NY. Currently my accomplishments as a junior in high school have been receiving 1st Team All League and Most Valuable Team Offensive player. One other highlight I'm proud of includes being in the high school record book with 45 years of history in 5 categories that include: RBI's, hits, runs scored, batting average and home runs. Ideally, I would like to be at a larger school size with a great college town atmosphere. Preferably the geographical location of the University I'd choose would be a coastal state. With family living in California and Texas these two states stand out; while other coastal states also round out my top location picks. Pursuing a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of Construction Management or Kinesiology would be ideal.
