Personal Statement
Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I understand that your time is very valuable and any time spent on me is very crucial knowing you would be looking at many other student athletes. I will take your investment with great appreciation and make sure your evaluation in me is efficient and worth your time.
I am a competitor. I give everything on and off the court to perfect what I am trying to accomplish. I am a student athlete with a 4.0 GPA playing at a high level of high school and AAU basketball. In school, I strive to show my abilities in the classroom by getting the best grades possibly. The subject that I care for the most is engineering because I feel that is something I would like to major in College. Currently I am playing on both my freshmen and sophomore teams. Outside of school basketball I am playing for Mercury Elite AAU National team, and looking for more programs to play for.
Growing up as a kid I was always considered the quiet kid because I wouldn’t say much in school and never being social. I have never gone to a party or a school dance and spent my off time working on basketball and playing video games. Because of this I got bullied for most of my grade school and 8th grade years but that didn’t stop me from what I loved. I continued to work harder and harder everyday because I wanted to prove people wrong in school and on the basketball court. Day to day I live with the quote “Somewhere someone is practicing and when you meet they will win” which means I will never stop working at what I love and always be dedicated to a team, grades or anything that I am doing. And I am working on people a say-do. Which means if I say something that I want to do then I'm going to do it. I want to be a say-doer person is because if someone can see that I stay committed to what I say I’m going to do then they can trust me and the only way to get results is by doing it because you can get results by talking.
