Personal Statement
My name is Landin Sledge I'm a Quarterback at Riverside (Durham) High School. My 2019 Football Stats are: 3382 Passing Yards, 42 Passing TD, 357 Rushing Yards, 5 TDS
What most people do not know about me is that I am dual enrolled student taking both college and high school courses while being a three sport athlete and the starting Varsity Quarterback. It is my desire to pursue Engineering in college as a major in either Aerospace or Mechanical with a goal of building my own car and Robot one day. When my teachers and other students in my classes realize that I am a three sport athlete they become confused as I have always been taught to be humble, to always be a team player and shine like a star and to always separate the student from the athlete. I have worked extremely hard not only on the field but in the classroom as well and have high goals and standards for both.
My biggest aspirations in life is to be able to go to school for Engineering, produce a documentary on high school athletes, and be able to play football as well as run track for my college program.
