Personal Statement

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile. My name is Kyra Wiens and I am a right handed pitcher/3rd base from Fraser Valley Fusion Gold 01. 

I fell in love with softball at the age of four.  I always watched my older sister play,  and being the competitive person I am it inspired me to work hard and to be the best I could be. I am a very hard worker that is very committed to my academics, my team and my coaches. I am a leader on the diamond and I was voted Team Captain by my own teammates.

My dream is to play University level softball,  I am a power hitter in the fourth batting spot, and I have maintained the highest batting average on my teams over the past four years. My batting average this year is .446 with over 267 plate appearances.
