Personal Statement

I have played football since the 2nd grade, and been a long snapper since my sophomore year of high school.  I am the starting long snapper for the Reagan High School Varsity Football Team and snap for punts, field goals and PATs.   While I have always played center, my true gift is found in long snapping.  I am very passionate about this, and work year-round to continue to improve.  I am a Rubio long snapper and currently rated as a 4-Star snapper, ranked #79 in the nation and #10 in the state of North Carolina.  I am committed to improving on all of these areas.

On July 11, 2016 I won the Camp Championship at the Rubio Long Snapping North Carolina Regional Camp in Charlotte, NC.  There were more than 75 long snappers from 10 states in attendance.  You can see an article in this by clicking HERE.

I am extremely active in my church where I serve in a leadership role within the very large youth group.  I also help lead worship as a member of the worship bands for both the youth group, as well as in either of the church's contemporary worship services.  I taught myself to play drums, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar and piano.

I am also very excited about serving others.  Monthly I serve as a team that feeds the homeless in Winston-Salem, and I have been a part of mission teams to San Francisco, where we served the homeless more than 5,000 meals a day, Guatemala, where we built 3 houses in 4 days, and Kenya where we distributed clean-drinking water systems to hundred of families in the Nakura region.
