Personal Statement
** Please check out my key combined Pitching and Hitting stats under my 2017 Delta Heat 'schedule' listing in Athletics.
My passion is softball, I can't imagine what I would do without it. The game has taught me many important lessons that have shaped me to be the person I am today, It has taught me responsibility, hard work, and dedication, which has helped me achieve many goals academically and athletically. My goal is to one day play at the collegiate level with a competitive and hard working team. My biggest dream is to one day play in the women's college world series, and help take my team to victory.
I am a 4-time Provincial Champion & 2-time Canadian National Champion pitcher and second baseman with the Delta Heat 2001A U16 Gold softball team, after 5 years with the Surrey Storm 2001A U16 as back-to-back Canadian National Champions in 2015 & 2016, along with a third-year player with the team Canada Futures program, after being selected as an under-aged 13 year old in 2014. I also play for the All American Team Mizuno U18 Elite team out of Chico/Sacramento, CA as a travel team within the US.
I am a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, play on the high school basketball and volleyball teams, and just finished my third year playing soccer. I volunteer at a Christian Summer Camp, with the CANPitch Learn to Play softball program, and have volunteered many hours at the SPCA in Surrey, BC
