Personal Statement

Ever since I was a young child I have been able to over come and achieve things that people said I could not. At the age of 6 I was enrolled in Kickboxing after I had been bullied by an older kid. By the age of 10 I had travelled to Port of spain Trinidad with the Canadian National Kickboxing team through the organization CASK. While there, I won the International Championship, defeating and older, heavier, and taller opponent. The following year I attended the world championships in Pretoria, South Africa, where I won the World Championship, once again, in a fight where I was the under dog. That year I also won the Canadian athlete of the year through CASK for Sportsmanship. The following year I was able to capture yet another World title, this time through the world Kobudo Championships is Levis, Quebec. I continued to train until the age of 14 when my entire focus turned to football. Football has emerged as my true love when it comes to sports and is what I am truly motivated to reach my maximum potential in. Aside from training harder than anyone else, I also have more heart, and passion than most, if not all. I was named DB all star for my district this past season, and have been a Captain on my team for the past three seasons, leading them to multiple championships. On top of this I am an honour roll student and have no struggles balancing football, academics, and personal life. I believe I can and will be an asset to any team that would be willing to invest in me as a person and player. Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.
