Personal Statement
My names is James Traylor and I am a very competitive TE/WR & defensive end. My goals are to win, and by pursuing my goals I can fulfill my dreams. My dream is to play Division - I football, and I know I have the capability to do so and excel there. I am a two sport athlete; I play football and basketball. I love both sports, and I take my role in each sport very seriously. I am very confident in my athletic abilities. At the June 16 National Underclassmen U100 camp for football, I came with the attitude to win. I was able to help lead my 7o7 team to the championship with great catches and great awareness. As a result of this I earned Tight End MVP for the camp. This automatically earned me an invite to the Top Prospect camp at Oklahoma University on July 20, however I am not sure I will be able to attend due to transportation. My will to win is not only on the field and basketball court, but in also in the classroom. At the beginning of my Junior my Cumalative GPA was a 3.68. My SAT score is a 1770. The individual scores go as follows: Math: 630; Critical Reading: 540; Writing/ Skills: 600. I will continue to work hard during this off season to gain more speed and mass. By the end of summer training I expect to weigh at least 215 lbs. Until then, my work is my main focus, but when the regular season starts winning is everything.
