Personal Statement

Hello College Coaches, my name is Brandon Nickerson. I am in the Graduating class of 2014 and I attend Chapel Hill High School in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. I have played football for 12 years and I have no intention of stopping. It has always been my dream to play football in college. Through out my high school career, I have worked hard to make this dream a reality. I have spent countless hours in the weight room trying to better myself as an athlete. My hard work shows on the field.  I am impact player for every team that I am apart of. My style of play allows me to lead my team's defensive. I make stops at critical moments and I can shift the momentum of a game. I can read offenses quickly and follow to the ball really well. I have good change of direction as well. I have an unceasing work ethic and I never give up on anything, no matter the circumstances. I value my academics highly. I have 4.04 weight GPA and I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. I am always willing to take criticism and become a better athlete.
